Hezbollah in a statement strongly condemned the deadly attack that “runs counter to the teachings of all divine religions and to human rights laws”, El-Nashra News reported.
It called on all religious authorities in the Muslim world to adopt a decisive stance against Takfiri groups and to isolate them.
Hezbollah also urged Afghan officials to punish those behind the wicked crime and take serious measures to prevent recurrence of such horrendous attacks.
Expressing condolences to the families of the martyrs and wishing speedy recovery for those injured in the attack, the Lebanese group hoped that the Muslim nation of Afghanistan will gain peace and security.
On Friday, Daesh terrorists attacked the mosque in the northern province of Kunduz in a suicide bombing while people were holding Friday prayers.
Some 100 people have lost their lives and the death toll is expected to rise as some of the injured are in critical conditions.
Since the Taliban took power in Afghanistan, the Daesh’s branch in the country has ramped up attacks in different parts of the country.
